Whether you are passionate about up-and-down-wind-inshore-racing, whether you love the adventure in a dug-out mango tree, whether you are thrilled by the idea to circumnavigate the globe in a high-tech racer, whether you want to enjoy the people and the parties or a combination of the above, The Sailing Society is the place where it all starts.
In our view Sailing is the best activity to challenge the elements, enjoy the excitement, build lifetime friendships and break away from ordinary life. The Sailing Society is all about building a vibrant global community of passionate sailors. People that are happy to meet other sailors, people that want to share their sailing experience, people that are willing to offer a spot on the next trip with their yacht and people that are interested in local cultures and exciting adventures.
The Sailing Society provides a comprehensive data platform for sailing event organisers, yacht owners, crew, individual club members, yacht clubs and charter companies to enable them to participate in any regatta, anywhere in the world.
We have founded The Sailing Society to help you explore these opportunities and enjoy the races, the yachts, the sailors and to connect with like-minded people anywhere in the world. There is always a regatta, somewhere, some place, some time that is the perfect match for you.

Our beloved Helmsman 35 ft, IOR racer/ Cruiser, designed by Håkan Södergren, built in 1975. Initially called ‘Hvid Björn’, White Bear in Swedish, hence the Dutch name Witte Beer.

An idea was born
Regatta organisers and charter companies share the same passion and the same challenge: how can we share the joy of a regatta on a great location, with great people?
It appeared there were so many regatta’s, beautiful yachts and stunning locations where no one has ever heard of, perhaps except of the locals. What a waste of opportunities. That is why we founded The Sailing Society for any passionate sailor, offering you a sea of adventures, anywhere in the world. Join us!

Our Values Underpin Our Passion
Sharing the Passion of likeminded sailors
The Sailing Society is all about building a vibrant global community of passionate sailors. People that are happy to meet other sailors, people that want to share their sailing experience, people that are willing to offer a spot on the next trip with their yacht and people that are interested in local cultures and exciting adventures.
There is always a regatta, somewhere, some place, some time that is the perfect match for you.
Commitment to sustainability and preserving our planet
If you ever come across a piece of plastic in the ocean:
A piece of floating plastic seems to fall into nothingness in the infinity of the sea. But every piece of waste removed from the sea means fewer dead sea animals, fewer microplastics in our food chain and less waste washed up on the, and therefore a better living environment for humans and animals…
Inclusive, Non-political, non-religious and not for profit
We feel strongly about sharing your passion and the love for life. Politics, Religion and Profit is OK, but it is not our objective. There is another life where you can practice this.
The Sailing Society is the place to enjoy your boat, your crew, your life and the beauty of the earth.
Making the unknown visible for everyone to see
The Sailing Society aims to support all great sailing events in the world, that are happy to welcome you, but have a hard time reaching out to you.
Usually the funds are limited, time is limited and there is only so much you can do in a life time. By showing the opportunities, participation will follow.
Come sail with us?
